Selamat datang ke blog Wanita Pertama – di sebalik bibir merah. Bibir merah mendapat ilham mewujudkan blog ini berdasarkan insiden posting seterusnya ‘The Bodyguard’. Peristiwa yang berlaku di negara seberang ini benar-benar ingin Bibir Merah fahami di mana betul dan silapnya kepimpinan wanita di negara kita.
Blog ini akan merungkai perkara-perkara di sebalik pemimpin wanita kita. Isteri-isteri kepada pemimpin. Apakah semuanya mudah bagi kaum kita wanita melangkah dalam dunia yang dikuasai lelaki ini.
Atau adakah cerita-cerita atau dilema yang dihadapi oleh pemimpin wanita ini yang boleh dirungkai di dalam parti politik yang ada di Malaysia. Adakah perkara tersebut amalan biasa yang berlaku dalam UMNO, PAS, PKR, MCA, GERAKAN, DAP dan lain-lain.
Di sebalik bibir yang merah pasti ada suka, duka dan lara. Dan pemilihan nama WANITA PERTAMA kerana nak raikan ‘The First Lady in waiting’.. opssss

First Lady is a term used in the United States to describe the wife of an elected male head of state.[1] It originated in 1849, when United States President Zachary Taylor called Dolley Madison "First Lady" at her state funeral while reciting a eulogy written by himself.[2] Occasionally another woman will fill the duties of First Lady, if the wife is unwilling, unable, or does not exist. Graça Machel is the only woman to have been First Lady of two different nations. In English language media the term First Lady is often applied to wives of Heads of State of other countries, irrespective of whether or not there is such a role or whether that role is differently described.

The First lady is not an elected position, carries no official duties, and brings no salary. However, she does receive some allowance as recognition of her time and energy put into being the First Lady. As First Lady, she attends many official ceremonies and functions of state either along with or representing the Prime Minister. There is a strict taboo against the First Lady holding outside employment while serving as First Lady.
Kontroversi panas-panas :
Constitution of Malaysia (formally known as the Federal Constitution of Malaysia) Article 32 (2) says that the Consort of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong (to be called the Raja Permaisuri Agong) shall take precedence next after the Yang di-Pertuan Agong over all other persons in the Federation. In other words, the Raja Permaisuri Agong should be the "First Lady" of Malaysia instead of the Prime Minister's spouse.
